Hello Anna!
I’m Anna and I live in Illinois with my husband and our two boys. I’m originally from Russia and I lived there my whole life but then I decided to travel at 23 years old, I visited the USA and fell in love with this country and people and here I am now! I have been crafting ever since I remember! I have never met my grandma’s but that’s where I get it from – they were very crafty and talented in any craft they worked on. My mom taught me to crochet and knit when I was 7 and I would make some little things like scarves here and there but my biggest obsession with crochet started a few years ago and now I just can’t stop! It is my biggest therapy, it helps me to go through the toughest times or just relaxes me when it’s most needed. It is my biggest passion now and I couldn’t be happier that I discovered this craft and joined the amazing fiber community – makers are just such wonderful people and am so glad I get to know more and more crafty people every day!Where to find me:
Winter Nights Cowl
This cowl is an example of when the yarn is the main inspiration for the pattern. These sparkly sequins remind me of White Siberian nights when the snow is reflecting the light of the moon shining from the night sky. The edging of this cowl imitates delicate icicles and wearing this item you will look nothing but a queen! I hope you enjoy this pattern as it is inspired by the place where I grew up – Siberia! It is very beautiful there in winter and I wanted to have a tiny piece that reminded me of that magical place!

Weave in all the ends, try to pull the needle slow as all the sequins keep getting caught when weaving the ends in, wiggling the needle a little and going slow helps. Steam the cowl or wash it according to the yarn directions.
