We have such a cute and adorable on the blog this week and it’s in the form of this Peekaboo Blanket Pattern! Just look how lovely the combo of this blanket mixed with small rabbits included are. Perfect for kids! This week, our Yarn Punk Chrisette Designs is here to show us how to make such a fun pattern. With creative and unique crochet patterns on her blog and shops, we are so grateful to have her sharing today! Be sure to show her some love on her side of the internet and have a blast with the FREE pattern down below.

To get started, let’s say hi!

“Hey Yarn Punks! My name is Lizette of Chrisette Designs, (I combined my name and my husbands name, Christopher, because I felt weird just using my name?).
I don’t usually design blankets, but when I do, I make sure they are kawaii! I’m all about amigurumi actually! And specifically interactive amigurumi.
The music I’m listening too ranges from Rap and Hip Hop, to Bachata (I’m Puerto Rican & Dominican…. and yes I know I don’t look it!). I play electric guitar, so I love rock too, and Santana is my guitar hero!

You can see some of my favorite songs by checking out my Tik Tok where I sometimes make my dolls dance to songs I like, haha! Down below, you can find everywhere i post – Socials, shops, and my website!

Here is my list of shameless plugs:”

SUPPLIES:

1. Medium weight size 4 yarn in any colors. I used Hobby Lobby brand “I Love This Yarn” in these
colors:
-Light Sage (Grass) 84 yds: https://bit.ly/2Txkhjt
-White (Bunny) 77 yds: https://bit.ly/331sCz5
-Toasted Almond (Bear) 12 yds: https://bit.ly/2VWgH3Y
-Pink (Bunny nose) 1/2 yd: https://bit.ly/2VY4BY7
-Black (Bear nose & paws) 1/2 yd: https://bit.ly/2vFGT8u
-Soft Blue (sky) 139 yds: https://bit.ly/2UEP0up
2. 5mm crochet hook: https://www.amazon.com/Clover (adjust hook size as needed according to gauge).
3. Bent Yarn needle: https://amzn.to/2GXT96F
4. Fabric glue (Optional): https://bit.ly/36BeFZv
5. Cat Brush (for bunny tail option.): https://bit.ly/2oTqpSU

NOTES:

1. Do not count the beginning chain of each row.
2. The finished blanket is about 15 inches (38.1 cm) wide, and 18.5 inches (46.99 cm) tall.
3. There may be a slight variance in sizing due to different tension and materials used.
4. Check your gauge first to get the same sizing.
5. This pattern is on 8.5 x 11in. pages so you can print them.
6. Do the foundation single crochet chain for the beginning instead of a regular chain. This has
more stretch to it, unlike a regular chain that tends to be tighter than the other rows. Here is a
video showing how: https://youtu.be/9CHjrWo6CD8
7. There are color changes in this pattern. Here is a video showing how:
