There a few kind of items that are just perfect for just about any time of the year and today, we have a yarn punk showing you how to make one of those types of pieces – the Seascape Shawl. Whether it be o keep your neck warm in the winter or to stay warm against a gentle breeze at the beach, this project is adaptable for any season! With a beautiful texture on top of all that, learn more about this yarn punk and her lovely boho style!

Hi Jess!

“I’m Jess and I am the designer and creator behind Sun Sand Stitch. I have been crocheting for 5 years and started designing in 2018 when I started my blog. Growing up in southern California, much of my inspiration comes from the beach and nature. My designs are simple in construction with a boho flair. Through my designs I hope to inspire others to be more conscientious of the environment. When I am not crocheting I am usually studying. I am finishing up my bachelor’s in environmental science and biology and will be graduating in spring next year. I love to listen to classic rock music and my favorite band is Boston. You can find me in all the places below!”

B = bobble

Ch = Chain

Dc = double crochet

Hdc = half double crochet

Stitch explanation:

Bobble (b): Yarn over and insert hook into stitch, pull up a loop, yarn over and pull through two loops on the hook. Repeat until you have 6 loops on your hook. Yarn over and pull through all 6 loops.
